In gratitude we stand with our communities to honour our heroes, past and present, whose selfless devotion and sacrifice inspire us to preserve our freedom and our way of life.

Elmer Elson Elementary and Mayerthorpe Jr/Sr High schools held their Remembrance Day Assemblies on November 7, 2014. 

Members of the Mayerthorpe Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion and 2716 Mayerthorpe Cadet Corps attended and presented the Colour Guard.

School assemblies throughout NGPS honour our soldiers and their sacrifices through songs, videos, artwork, poetry and the laying of wreaths.
