Grasmere students are enjoying the fruits of their artistic labour. A beautiful, new school mural graces the entrance to the school courtesy of the students' work with artist-in-residence Debra Bryan. Debra, an Edmonton-based artist, spent 4 days at the school during which each and every Grasmere student painted a tile for the mural illustrating a variety of their favourite activities. The centre of the mural showcases their school logo.

Ms. Bryan hand-kilned the tiles and returned to Grasmere to install the mural. The students' work, and contribution to their school community, culture and pride, is now the first thing students (and parents and community members) see when they enter the school!
