Soccer fever hits Sangudo Community School!
Posted on:Soccer fever hit Sangudo Community School this month. Every Tuesday and Thursday, from now until May, the Kindergarten to Grade 3 students gather in the gym following the final bell to have some fun with their friends.
This past week several of the Kindergarten students spontaneously huddled together to work out a game plan. There was no direction to do so from the teacher, but she was looking on with a grin from ear to ear, as were the numerous parents in attendance.
"This is what it is all about. It's not about goals, or who the better soccer player is. It's about connecting with other students, coming out and participating, having fun, being active, making new friends and learning to work and play together."
