Stephanie Damery to serve as Acting Assistant Principal at OES!

NGPS is happy to announce that Mrs. Stephanie Damery has accepted the position of Acting Assistant Principal at Onoway Elementary School.
Mrs. Damery began her teaching career with NGPS at Rich Valley School in 2006. Since then, her passion for student engagement and achievement have afforded her the opportunity to serve students and the division in a number of different roles including AISI Lead Teacher, Learning Coach and, most recently, Learning Services Coordinator. She also spent a year on secondment to Black Gold Regional Schools as a Lead Member of the Provincial Curriculum Prototyping Team, during the course of the 2014-15 school year.
"Stephanie is a valued member of the NGPS team! Her experience, educational philosophy and commitment to innovation in learning will serve the OES community well," shared Kevin Andrea, NGPS Superintendent.
Mrs. Damery holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Grant MacEwan University and a Bachelor of Education Generalist degree from the University of Alberta.
Mrs. Damery is "honoured to join the amazing team at Onoway Elementary School this fall," sharing that she is looking forward to working alongside colleagues, students, parents and the community "to further the goals of OES and support the ongoing success and growth of our students."
