What are teachers doing on PD Days? Professional Development Days are about learning for teachers and school support staff in a variety of ways. They meet as grade and subject networks, i.e. Senior High Math, Fine Arts, Kindergarten teachers, Inclusive Education Facilitators, to share best practices, success stories, techniques and challenges. They work together to meet challenges and learn from each other. Sometimes experts in subject areas like Assessment, Curriculum and student engagement work with staff. Professional Development takes on many forms.
Please scroll through the photo gallery below for a more detailed glimpse inside the Division's most recent PD Day on September 16, and other PD sessions that have taken place so far this school year.
