Hillside Jr/Sr High School Band performed for 190 principals, trustees and student leaders at the Spring General Meeting of the Public School Boards Association. Led by teacher Vimmy Berry, the band led the assembly in O Canada and 4 other selections before receiving a standing ovation for their performance.

The band received "The Spirit of Anaheim Award" this past May at the Heritage Music Festival in California, an accolade given from thousands of participants for the school that best represents excellent character and personality.
