Students riding Whitecourt school buses

Our recent changes to routes, with the extended drop off window in the morning have proven successful.  Buses are arriving at all schools on time in the morning.  

NEW CHANGES: the Transportation Department has completed additional route changes this week that will help get many students away from their school earlier in the afternoon and home earlier.

Effective Wednesday, November 1, 2017 an additional bus route (Route 119) will be deployed in the community of Whitecourt.  

PLEASE NOTE: new bus passes for some Whitecourt students will be sent home with your child today. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHILD'S BAG/AGENDA FOR THE NEW PASS. If you do not receive a new pass it is because your child's route is not affected to the extent that they will need a new pass.

The additional route and other scheduling changes will affect routes and ride times for students riding on Routes 105, 108, 109, 119 and 123. Several students will see changes to their morning pick up and afternoon drop off times. Please refer to the busing schedules in the gallery below for complete details. 

Route 119

Several student riders from Bus Routes 105, 108 and 109 have been moved to this route and can expect a change in their pick up/drop off times. Stop location stays the same.  

Route 111

Several student riders from Bus Route 108 have been moved to this route and can expect a change in their pick up/drop off times. Stop location stays the same.  

Route 123

We have changed the stop order of stop 20 and Hilltop High School.  Students using stop 20 can expect a change in their afternoon drop off time; however, their location stays the same.
