Mike Tavaroli named Principal, Sangudo Community School
Posted on:We are pleased to announce that Mr. Mike Tavaroli will continue to administer and lead Sangudo Community School, as he has done effectively for the last few months.
NGPS Superintendent Kevin Bird commented:
"We are excited to have Mr. Tavaroli take on the principalship at Sangudo Community School. Mike's experience, connection to the community and commitment to the quality learning environment will serve students and staff well."
Mr. Tavaroli began his career with NGPS in 2015, teaching junior high Social Studies, Language Arts and Physical Education. He has consistently demonstrated leadership within the school community, a commitment to instructional excellence and a keen understanding of school culture, honed over his years as both an educator and a coach.
Prior to joining the Division, Mike taught for twelve years with Greater St. Albert Catholic School Division and coached Club Volleyball and AAA Hockey.
Mr. Tavaroli shared, "I am honoured to have the opportunity to work collaboratively with SCS staff, students and families in this new role. We are all very excited for the 2023-24 school year in Sangudo. Together, we will continue to build a caring and quality learning environment for all students."
Mr. Tavaroli holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta.
