Northern Gateway Public Schools understands that school fees can be difficult for families who are experiencing financial hardship and that the economic downturn in our province has strained many families.

We support the government’s efforts to ease the financial burden for families and to see this issue brought to light through Bill 1.

We look forward to receiving additional information from the Government of Alberta and to participating in the consultations that are scheduled for this spring.
