Trish Muir named Principal, Grasmere School
Posted on:The Division is pleased to announce that Mrs. Trish Muir has been named as Principal for Grasmere School. Ms. Muir stepped in to the role of Acting Principal in 2022 following former Principal Shelley Wyman's move to Alberta Education.
Mrs. Muir first joined NGPS in 2003 while she completed her teaching practicum, and then, as a substitute teacher, before settling in at Darwell School where she taught a range of grades and subjects and served as the school's Inclusive Education Facilitator.
Throughout her time with the Division, Trish has developed a comprehensive understanding of students' diverse learning needs and how teamwork, collaboration and a shared vision positively impact student achievement.

Mrs. Muir holds of Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta.
